Privacy Notice
Prepared under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

2. This website
This website does not use cookies, does not contain forms and does not collect personal data from visitors. The company that hosts the website may process technical connection records (such as IP address, date and time) for a short period, for security and service continuity purposes.
3. Personal data we process
When you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we process only the data you share with us:
- Identity: name and surname.
- Contact: e-mail address and telephone number.
- Professional: your company and job title.
- Request content: your message and our correspondence.
We do not accept applications or CVs from seafarers through this website or by e-mail. CVs, identity documents, passports, medical certificates or similar documents sent to us without request are not evaluated and are deleted without delay. Please do not send such documents.
4. Purposes and legal grounds
We process your data to answer your requests and questions, to conduct discussions on crew requirements, crew changes and partnerships, to establish business relationships and prepare contracts, and to comply with our legal obligations.
The legal grounds are those listed in Article 5(2) of KVKK: (c) processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, (ç) compliance with a legal obligation, (e) establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and (f) our legitimate interests, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed.
5. Method of collection
Your data is collected when you send it to us yourself, by e-mail or during a telephone call.
6. Transfers
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. Your data may be transferred only:
- to authorised public authorities, where required by law (KVKK Article 8);
- to our e-mail and hosting service providers whose servers are located outside Türkiye (Microsoft, Cloudflare), solely to provide these services and in line with the safeguards in KVKK Article 9.
7. Retention
Correspondence is kept for 2 years after the related request is concluded. If a contract is established, the retention periods required by the applicable legislation apply. At the end of the period, the data is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Under Article 11 of KVKK you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed and for what purpose;
- know the recipients to whom your data is transferred;
- request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, and deletion or destruction of your data;
- object to a result arising from exclusively automated analysis;
- claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
You may send your request in writing to the address above, or by e-mail to crew@humankeyoffshore.com from the e-mail address you previously used with us. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
